The reliable identification of low combustion oxygen in a fired heater or boiler has always been critical to the effectiveness of the Burner Management System for proper control and safety.

Low emission burners and aggressive firing control points to achieve increased efficiency and emission reductions have driven the industry to tighter control measures.  But tighter control measures also hold a greater potential for combustion events. Reducing the risk of a combustion event has become a priority and has led to the implementation of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).  This additional layer of safety is added to the Basic Process Control System.

The WDG-V has been designed to provide an additional layer of safety with the measurement of excess O2, Combustibles and Methane and by using these measurements to ensure the safe operation of the Burner Management System

The D-R 290 has been used successfully for more than 15 years in various applications as reliable and low maintenance opacity / dust monitor. Now the new generation is available.

The D-R 290 is a certified optical transmission monitor to measure the opacity or dust concentration of flue gases with medium to high dust concentrations.

The D-R 290 operates using the double-pass method according to the auto-collimation principle. The light beam traverses the measuring path twice. The attenuation of the light beam by the dust content in the measuring section is measured and evaluated.

The D-RC 120 is an automatic sampling device for gravimetric dust measurements to adjust or calibrate dust monitors for the measurement of dust in mg/m3.

The D-RC 120 extracts ISO-kinetically a partial gas stream from the measuring gas duct whereas the extraction is controlled fully automatically. The partial gas stream is sucked through a filter in which the contained dust is deposited. The dust concentration is determined by weighing the filter before and after the extraction.

The design of the D-RC 120 meets the requirements of DIN EN 13284-1 and US-EPA Method 5.

The new scattered light dust monitor to detect lowest to medium dust concentrations in dry flue and process gas.

 The new dust monitor D-R 320 is based on the back scattering principle. The light of a laser diode illuminates the dust particles in the measuring volume of the flue gas duct. The light scattered backwards by these particles is detected and evaluated.

The D-R 320 does not require a light trap. The background light in the stack is detected by means of a special system with integrated dual detector and automatically compensated
